Their work is informed by 5 key values that underpin the organisation’s identity:
Working across a broad spectrum ranging from local organisations and specialist partners, to national bodies and government ministries, Healthwatch employ evidence-based research to highlight national trends and concerns, raising these at the highest levels.
Our local Engagement Officer will spend some time delivering advice and information, but most importantly, listening to and noting the immediate concerns and general issues faced by members of our Tea Stop, who are coming to terms with the effects of dementia in their everyday lives. We anticipate practical proactive advice and solutions that will enable our group to leave feeling heard, empowered and supported.
