‘Leading Change, Adding Value’ is the first strategy of its kind, with an aim to bring together nursing and care teams as equal partners in the delivery of care services to society’s most vulnerable.
According to Professor Deborah Sturdy, Nurse Advisor to Care England:
“This is an opportunity for the entire profession and care teams to come together and work with a common purpose to improve the experience for those in our care. The needs of people living in care homes are complex, and require an educated and highly skilled workforce. Having a framework which supports a common vision for all can help us all improve our practice, break down barriers between settings and stand alongside the NHS as equals and partners in improving outcomes for those we deliver care to everyday”.
MBi Social Care, as a registered care provider, welcomes the strategy, which complements our existing triangle of care (equal partnership) framework, and we are committed to its implementation across each of our locations.
We believe the strategy will be truly effective if we as individual employees embed and incorporate each of the key statements outlined, locally into our everyday practice.
Our care family is committed to being the ‘we’ behind these statements. We are the company and individual employees who welcome and implement this strategy in every corner of all of our homes.
We are the people who proudly pronounce ‘we will’!
